The 11th AGM of the Gujarat Small Scale Battery Association was held in Goa on September 15th. This was the first time that the association, established in 2009, had a change in its office bearers. Previously, the previous office bearers were unanimously appointed each year. The association had never held elections. Shri Muljibhai Pansara of Goldstar Power Ltd., Hapa, had been unanimously elected president, and the committee members remained unchanged. However, due to Shri Muljibhai Pansaras busy schedule at the battery smelting unit in Uganda, and Shri Vishal Pansara and Shri Vasantbhai of Rajkots other commitments and their inability to devote time to the association, changes were made for the first time. These changes were also unanimous, eliminating the need for elections.
Strength to Face Challenges
Welcoming the members present at the general meeting, the associations general secretary, Shri Vishnubhai, said, "It is a matter of great pride and pleasure for me to welcome you all to this general meeting today." We have all gathered together in a beautiful place like Goa; this opportunity will give us new energy and enthusiasm.
Journeys are easier when we have close companions, and work is easier when trust is deep.
The purpose of this meeting is not only to review past work, but also to formulate new plans and strategies for the future. When we all come together, we not only strengthen our businesses but also gain the strength to face the major changes and challenges facing the world. This collaboration propels us towards a better industry, good business for all, and prosperity for the country and the world. The battery industry is crucial for todays world. This industry is the foundation of energy, technology, and progress, and it will hold the key to growth and a sustainable future in the future.
If we move forward together, new paths will emerge; every difficulty will become easier, every destination will come closer.

Memento for Shri Muljibhai
Shri Muljibhai Pansara, president for the past 14 years, was given a warm farewell with a memento. Shri Pansara said on this occasion, "I now spend most of my time in the Uganda factory and rarely visit India, but whenever the association needs me, I will remain with the association wholeheartedly. The association should progress and be a tool for business growth, but politics should not enter the association."
To fill Shri Pansaras place in assoication, the association appointed his eldest son, Shri Navneet Pansara, as a committee member. He has been managing the company as the Managing Director of Goldstar Power Ltd. for a long time.
The Associations Treasurer, Shri Pratik Shah, presented the previous years accounts.
